Now Wave and Band on the Wall present Horsebeach. Dubbed Manchester’s most exciting new band, Horsebeach bring together that familiar, chiming, C86 guitar with brooding melancholic melodies, creating unique Manchester-based dream pop.
The band had only played a handful of gigs before their track ‘Even’ was spun by Marc Riley, who later welcomed them into the studio for their first BBC 6 Music session. This created a massive buzz and the release of the track on a limited 7″, which sold out within 24 hours.
Comparisons have been made with bands such as Felt, The Wake, Ducktails and more recently Real Estate.
