Are you a young person just setting out on your fiddle playing journey? Have an old family fiddle in the attic that you’ve no idea how to play? Join Grace Smith for this introduction to the fiddle (which is the folk name for the violin), from tuning, holding, and bowing the fiddle, to building your skills towards playing a tune!

Grace Smith is a fiddle player and clog dancer from Teesside. She has a First Class Honours degree and a Masters in Folk and Traditional Music, and is an experienced performer, appearing at festivals and venues across Europe with various bands and as a solo artist. Grace also has a passion for teaching and is in high demand as a tutor.
