Community Manchester & Band on the Wall join forces to bring you a special and majorly hyped live show by one of the hottest bands emerging from London, signed to Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings, YUSSEF KAMAAL. Their debut LP ‘Black Focus’ approaches jazz from an inner city groove, taking in DnB, Hip Hop, Grime, Broken Beat, Blues & Soul music in it’s own unique way.
Their show at Isington Mill in November 2016 was a standout moment of the year, and Band on the Wall is thrilled to bring them back to the Rainy City, this time teaming up with Community!
This is no ordinary live show – guest selectors, the Better Days DJ crew will be providing warmup vibes from 8pm and we’ll be throwing a very special afterparty following the gig with DJs Henry Wu (Yussef Kamaal) and Irfan Rainy (Community Manchester), spinning fresh tunes til late.
