Going South is a massive project aimed at improving the visibility of South Asian UK artists (10% of the UK population) at festivals and events. This year we organized the Arrivals venue at Glastonbury Festival the first led by, produced and curated by the South Asian Community and led by Bobby Friction (Going South) + Dialled In. With hardly any involvement of this community within Womex in the past, we think this is the perfect showcase for Womex delegates for the wealth of culture & world style music the UK has to offer!
