Brighton has always been a breeding ground for new bands and exploratory music. This tour features the foremost representatives of the city’s most
exciting and critically acclaimed musical export of recent times, the
Willkommen Collective – a loose-knit community of musicians and bands
sharing lo-fi, nu-folk and alt-country roots.
Beloved of Brian Eno, Guy Garvey and Bob Harris, The Leisure Society made
national headlines last year with an Ivor Novello nomination and will be
joined by Sons of Noel and Adrian – The Willkommen’s post-folk orchestra
with Recently seen touring with Mumford & Sons and playing alongside Laura
Marling. Also on tonight’s bill is the finger-picking folk dexterities of the wonderful Laish.
