A smouldering, sultry offering that weaves together threads of jazz, neo-soul, R&B and hip-hop” – Complex UK

Webmoms is the brainchild of UK-based multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter Karum Cooper. It’s a project rich in influences across the musical spectrum with several millions of streams across Spotify and Apple Music alone, a slew of BBC Introducing, R6, R1 and R1Xtra plays and production credits on tracks around the globe, to boot.

Starting out as an instrumental beatmaking alias in 2020, this bedroom project has grown from strength to strength – with 2024’s EP ‘For Us By Us’ marking the artists first fully vocal release (all previous EPs have been smattered with an even share of instrumental beats and vocal tracks). The EP, with its nuanced and original take on Lofi-Hip Hop, RnB and Neo soul, delves further into the realms of conscious, politically driven poetry and lyricism, straying away from a beat-centric production style and incorporating some seriously strong vocal hooks and a peppering of artist features.
The EP gained attention yet again from taste maker press (Earmilk, Plastic Magazine), Spotify Editorials, BBC networks (Radio 1Xtra, Radio6) and was supported by a 7 date UK tour in support of Brighton Future soul outfit ‘YAKUL’
