We invite you to take your seats as audience for this performance of amazing premiers. Entrance is free. Doors open at 7pm. The gig will take place in the main venue immediately after the Wall of Sounds Creative Lab Summit. This performance will be recorded.

This is the first performance from a new orchestral group consisting of sixteen of the most exciting young musicians, composers and improvisors working in the UK today, all under the guidance and leadership of Loose Tubes bass legend and composer Steve Berry. Many of the Creative Orchestra group are band leaders and established recording artists, all are highly accomplished musicians and improvisers hailing from all points north of the UK. After 3 weeks of composition and 3 days of rehearsals at Band on the Wall, everything you hear tonight will be entirely new music.

Creative Orchestra combines the rich acoustic sound of the classical chamber orchestra with the expressive freedom that comes with improvised and collaborative music making. A combination of musicians from classical, jazz and popular music backgrounds to create a fresh new and exciting new take on the orchestra. New things will happen…..
