Manchester punk outfit Vibrant Thigh played live at Band on the Wall on 26th June 1979. In the same year they featured on the first Manchester Musician’s Collective’s compilation album, A Manchester Collection.
The band were a three-piece consisting of Andy Hannay on drums, Mark Hayle on bass and vocals and Mike O’Dea on guitar and vocals, but they expanded to a five-piece group in 1980.
