Prog rock shining stars The Watch are back in 2014 with a very special, brand new show showcasing Genesis’ 1974 masterpiece The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway for the first time.
The band’s unique approach, together with excellent musicians and a vocalist considered by all the most Gabriel-esque ever, will allow fans to enter the story of one of the most complex concept albums of all time.
Brief snippets of narrative will help the listener unravel the mysteries at the heart of the story. Something never attempted before live on stage.
Original The Watch compositions, well known worldwide for their unique twists and turns in keeping with their progressive roots, will of course be played alongside the classics.
The show will begin at 8.00pm but the Picturehouse Cafe Bar is open from 5.30pm for pre-event food and drinks.
