The Milk are a quartet of childhood friends blending 60s soul, modern funk, and jazz into a unique, sophisticated sound. Since their 2012 debut Tales from the Thames Delta, they’ve earned critical acclaim and a UK Top 40 hit, working with producers like Brad Baloo and Grammy-winner Paul Butler. Their 2015 album was named BBC 6 Music’s Album of the Year.
Their third album Cages was released at the start of COVID, limiting its reach, but the band found solace in music during challenging times. Their upcoming fourth album, featuring the lead single “Borderlands,” reflects personal and societal upheavals, promising soulful melodies and sharp rhythms that resonate deeply.
