The Fergus Quill Trio are a band whose obsession lies in 20th, 21st, and 22nd century improvised music, from Jelly Roll Morton and Sun Ra to Derek Bailey and the Boredoms.

They will be playing music from their album ‘Zoop Zoop’ and their new album’
¡Blamo! An album that pays homage to the Spaghetti Westerns of the 1960s and 1970s and in particular, the soundtrack music written by Italian composer maestro Ennio Morricone. The tracks merge film theme/soundtrack-style music with jazz improvisation.

Fergus is an in-demand Composer, Bandleader, and Bassist. Founder of large avant garde ensemble ‘Ferg’s Imaginary Big Band’ He has recently played with the likes of Hermeto Pascoal, Orphy Robinson and Emma Rawciz.
