Making their grand return four years after their last release – Hot Motion – Temples are back with Exotico – an immersive mix of kraut, psych and dream pop.
Their debut Sun Structures – released back in 2014 – was a staple piece of 2010s psychedelic indiepop, setting the scene for the records that would follow. Exotico sees the band building upon their previous sound with the help of producer Sean Ono Lennon.Mixed by David Fridmann – who’s previously worked with the likes of The Flaming Lips, Beach House and Spoon – the atmospheric record is an expansive step up from their previous sound.
Taking place once they complete a tour of the States, their set in The Venue is sure to be a jubilant night of new music and their back catalogue we’ve come to love alike.
