Join us as we go back to the roots of tap dancing – improvisation with live music! Dancers from beginners to pro take the stage with the Michael Cretu Trio and the amazing Jess Murray. Whether you want to dance or simply enjoy seeing tap danced with great local jazz musicians, this is an event that everyone will enjoy.
If you fancy a tap try-out we have shoes that you can use on the free ‘Renegade Stage’ taster workshop at 7pm in the Picturehouse with TRP tutor Karen Wood. No experience necessary.
Jess Murray will run a special open workshop before the main event kicks off on the main stage for intermediate and advanced tappers in Education Room 1 from 6.30-7.30pm. Price £12 payable at the Box Office as you arrive. NB Please enter through the Red Door for this workshop.
Children under 16 are welcome to this evening as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
