Band on the Wall are proud to welcome back Stuart McCallum for a very special night featuring some brilliant guests.
This concert will be split over two sets.
The first set will be a solo acoustic set by Stuart. Using 6 string, baritone and soprano guitars, combined with loop pedals and FX, Stuart creates a unique trance-like soundworld combined with cathartic grandeur.
The second set is a new project combining the talents of vocalist, Rioghnach Connolly and Stuart. Rioghnach has a soulful voice that echoes back through the ages; resonant and resplendent in glorious, exploding power and control. Stuart’s soundworld of lush textures of guitars, strings and keyboards are combined with stories of love and loss, treachery and murder, to hypnotise the way that only music can.
Also featured are Stuart’s Cinematic Orchestra band mates John Ellis on keys and Luke Flowers on drums, as well as Zero 7’s Robin Mullarkey on bass.
The Picturehouse Cafe Bar is open beforehand for delicious food and drinks.
