Sara Leanne: Uprooted

  • Band on the Wall, Manchester

Manchester-based artist Sara Leanne blends blues, folk and classic singer-songwriter influences into music that feels both timeless and deeply personal. Inspired by artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Carole King, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Eva Cassidy, her music explores themes of grief, love and loss through warm melodies, rich harmonies and intimate storytelling.

Sara takes to The Copper Bar stage to celebrate the release of her debut EP, Uprooted — an intimate collection of original tracks written to process a year of significant change across the four core foundations of her life: family, love, friendship and music. She’ll also revisit some older songs and share a first listen to brand-new material that’s never been heard before.

Alongside her original music, Sara is an internationally touring musician, best known for performing as Christine McVie with Mick Fleetwood-endorsed Rumours of Fleetwood Mac. She has performed at many of the world’s most prestigious concert halls and venues, including l’Olympia (Paris), Tempodrom (Berlin) and Cadogan Hall (London), while continuing to build a strong reputation in the Manchester live music scene.

Expect a warm and intimate evening of beautiful music, emotional moments and plenty of soul, backed by some of Manchester’s finest musicians.
