Ruby Woods
Huddersfield vocalist, songwriter and DJ Ruby Woods is perhaps best known for fronting the critically acclaimed Submotion Orchestra, of which she has been lead vocalist since 2009. That’s not all, though – she’s also toured as lead vocalist for Bonobo’s live band, for Nubiyan Twist, and with 1940’s-esque vocal trio, The Sugar Sisters.
This will be a chance to see her in our intimate bar setting, following the release of her debut EP ‘Sincerely’. It’s five tracks of hip-hop textures and neo-soul depths, with a glorious nod to classics ’90s R&B. Telling tales of relationships, motherhood, and independence, you will surely be mesmerised by this truly masterful vocalist.
