Rosie Frater-Taylor is one of the most electrifying forces in contemporary crossover music:
virtuoso guitarist, compelling vocalist and songwriter of striking emotional depth.

Recently celebrated by Seal who called her ‘the most exciting and original artist since Amy Winehouse”.

Blending jazz guitar roots with rock, alt-pop, neo-soul, folk and new-school jazz, she crafts a sound entirely her own. Her current release, Featherweight draws inspiration from icons Joni Mitchell, Pat Metheny and Steely Dan alongside modern influences like John Mayer and Emily King. Featherweight has received acclaim from KCRW, BBC Radio 1, Jazz FM, Mojo, Guitar.com, Guitar World and more while Led Zepplin’s Jimmy Page praised her ‘connection with the guitar’ following her standout performance at the opening of the Gibson Garage. A magnetic live performer, she has performed at Love Supreme, London Jazz Festival and We Out Here and has been spotlighted on Quincy Jones Qwest TV and Spotify’s Best of Jazz UK 2025. Her online reinterpretations have also earned viral attention including millions of streams on Fleetwood Mac classic ‘Dreams’ and pulsating re-working of Kate Bush’s iconic ‘Running Up That Hill’. Celebrated by Seal who called her ‘the most exciting and original artist since Amy Winehouse” and sharing stages with the likes of Madison Cunningham to John Scofield – Rosie Frater-Taylor stands firmly at the forefront of genre-blurring contemporary music.
