Band on the Wall and Jazz FM present the legendary American composer and pianist Ramsey Lewis performing his iconic 1974 hit album Sun Goddess in it’s entirety with full backing band at The Bridgewater Hall. Originally produced with Maurice White, and recorded with his band Earth, Wind & Fire, Sun Goddess‘ sleek grooves and gorgeous melodies have over the years led to it being considered one of the classic albums of our times. Come and enjoy its creator perform it live in Manchester. Tonight’s support slot is the award winning British trombone star Dennis Rollins with his new Velocity Trio.
