Reggae meets Dancehall as two of Jamaica’s finest artists share the Band on the Wall stage with full backing bands for this spectacular double-bill. Come feel the love and party at what promises to be one of the Summer’s live reggae highlights.

Queen Ifrica

Born in the hills above Montego Bay, the daughter of rocksteady legend Derrick Morgan has been making waves in reggae since the late 90s. With her haunting melodies, deeply-felt lyrics, and clear soul-filled sound that pays respect to the original Rastafari roots rhythms of Jamaica, Queen Ifrica is mesmerising live – creating timeless rebel music in the ilk of her father Derrick Morgan, Garnett Silk, Nina Simone and Miriam Mackeba such as the brilliant, controversial songs Daddy and Below The Waist

Tony Rebel

Dancehall master, cultural deejay and performer Tony Rebel first gained the international reggae community’s attentions with his first big hit Fresh Vegetable in 1990. Emerging as one of the most eminent figures of the 90s ragga era, Tony Rebel’s acclaimed singjay vocal deliveries spawned a whole string of hits including Vibes of the Times, Nazarite Vow, If Jah and I Rebel.

Both artists will be performing individual sets before coming together for a special joint performance guaranteed to raise the roof at the venue. Tickets on sale now.

This event will begin at 8.30pm but our Picturehouse Cafe is open from 5.30pm for drinks and good vibes.
