Picturehouse presents… Sunday Acoustic Sessions
James Kelly’ unique sound is a blend of frantic flamenco blues guitar driven by a constant, hypnotic house bass drum underneath, drawing on influences as diverse as The Mars Volta, Peter Green, Thom Yorke, Queens of the Stoneage, Arctic Monkeys, The Eels, Jeff Buckley, Ben Folds Five, Rage Against the Machine.
“T. G. Elias has an ability that marks many artists who are listed amongst the greatest who have ever picked up an instrument: he can touch people on a level so personal that words are meaningless and only abstract feeling that is impossible to define resides.” – Manchester Music
Performing a very special one-off acoustic set for the Sunday Sessions, The Picturehouse is very proud to present ‘Onions’. One of Manchester’s best kept musical secrets, the irrepressible Onions slap on more harmonies and rattled beat guitars than the Beatles at a 60’s garage psyche convention. Expect to leave grinning from ear to ear!
Plus there will be an open mic session from 7-9pm!
