Band on the Wall presents On Yer Mic!
A celebration of linguistics, word play and syntax. Featuring a rare live show from the Inna Voice collective; a team of poets, rappers, beatboxers, and singers who’ve played across Britain and America, opening for such poets as Saul Williams and Kate Tempest. Representing Room2 Records is Sangy, an MC who’s been making waves over 2014, with radio play on Unity radio and BBC Asian network. His first show at Band on the Wall, Sangy will be performing tracks from his new e.p. Introspection. Also on the night will be local MC and poet Cave Man, and bringing hip hop and more to the decks during in the night is Dj Joey B (Hot Milk, Swing Ting).
