They bring together elements of jazz, hip-hop, prog, fusion and funk to create their own original sound. The band have already been making waves, playing gigs around the north west including Manchester International Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival, EskFest, Hope Street Jazz Festival and Lancaster Jazz Festival. They will be touring their debut EP ‘Laundry Day’ (released on the 1st of Feb 2023 on Future Fable records) in early 2023.

Manchester-born duo KARL (George Grundy & David Burgoyne) are exploratory beat-makers and instrumentalists, meshing jazz, hip-hop and R&B. Reminiscent of the L.A. instrumental hip-hop coming out of labels such as Brainfeeder and Stones Throw, Karl has already had radio play and support from the likes of Jay Phelps (Worldwide FM) and rapper Mike Larry Draw. They recently release their second EP
Heath on Portal Records. This set will feature bassist/producer Stan Scott!

Bobby Snacks are cosmic chuggers, disco wrong’uns and sleazy icebergs that can sink any Yacht, and of course bare nibbles and snacks!

This show takes place on the bar stage.
