PEOPLE!! I am PROUD to announce that ITS THAT TIME AGAIN!!!! It’s time for the FOURTEENTH INSTALLMENT of Mikey D.O.N.’s Reggae night – the formidable & now popular ‘NIGHT OF THE LIVING DREAD’ Sessions – that take place here at the Band On The Wall. 🙂 🙂
For this event – Part 14 – once again i’m bringing it back ‘home’ & reaching out to my Manchester Family & calling the night ‘The D.O.N. meets The DAN’ – as we are making MORE MUSICAL HISTORY on this night. Continuing the party vibes inna true heartical style, its an HONOUR & A PRIVILEDGE to welcome onboard for his ‘Night Of The Living Dread’ debut – the man who i like to call the ‘BIGGA DAN’ man himself, the man who has put contless years of hard work into promoting Real Reggae Musc to the masses – whether it be in the dancehall or from over the counter at record shop he used to run, none other than the one & only WIZZY DAN. Not only is he known for doing his weekly radio show on PEACE FM, he was also a, if not ‘the’ HEAD Selector from the legendary BARON TURBO CHARGE SOUND outta Moss Side, so you KNOW what to expect when the DAN represents – especially in his hometown!! MUSICA LMUURRRRDDAAHHH!! 🙂 Djing alongside nowadays B.O.T.W. Selector MIKEY D.O.N. (one-third of the legendary UK rap group KRISPY 3) …this IS gunna be one MUSICAL SHOWDOWN to say the least!! To say that the linkup is OVERDUE is an UNDER-STATEMENT!! 🙂 🙂
BOTH DJ’s will be armed to the teeth with KILLER tunes – including DUBPLATES – so expect to hear nothing less than absolute BANGERS in ALL genres of Reggae OLD & NEW – from DUB to DANCEHALL, ROOTS ROCKERS to RAGGA, LOVERS ROCK & anything else in the mix! Also, as on all the previous N.O.T.L.D. Sessions, expect to see someone holding down the mic duties with party vibes as per usual!!
Entrance fee for this historic night is FREE – BEFORE MIDNIGHT!! YES….FREE!! NOTHING!! ZILTCH!!! ZERO PENCE!! (Can you REALLY believe it????). Then it will be £5 thereafter. So GET THERE EEEAAARRRLLLLYYY to avoid disappointment (& to GET IN!!) – coz you have NO EXCUSES to miss this one. 🙂
