My Generation Social Scene at Band on the Wall kicks off 2012 with a bit of March Hare madness.
The dark nights are almost behind us and Spring is in the air. The only excuse you need to dig out your dancing shoes and get down to Manchester’s finest live music venue to meet people and enjoy the company of good friends.
DJs Howard and Baz return to our favourite venue with their extensive classic vinyl collection aiming to get you back into your groove and help you banish those winter blues. We are delighted to introduce another fabulous live act, The Deltones, originally formed in the ‘60s and still performing chart hits from the ‘60s to the ‘90s featuring music from The Beatles, Eagles, Hollies, Searchers and many more. The early evening social event begins at 6.00pm in the Picturehouse Bar with a chance to loosen those hips at our Zumba taster workshop session. The evening picks up the pace at 7.00pm when the doors open to the main venue keeping the party mood in full swing till midnight.
The Deltones plays two sets from 8pm and 9.45pm.
Tickets just £4 and available online or on the door.
The evening is presented by My Generation Social Scene with support from Manchester Cultural Strategy Team, Valuing Older People and the Great Manchester Community Foundation.
TICKETS NOW ONLY AVAILABLE IN PERSON FROM THE BAND ON THE WALL BOX OFFICE. BOX OFFICE OPEN FROM 5PM
