A1M Records take over Band on the Wall for another edition of ‘Music from the North’, featuring The Moods, Pleasures, Glove, Falling Ghosts and some special guests.
The Moods
The North West’s premier electro hip-hop reggae outfit, and their message is loud and clear. This 10-strong band unifies rap, brass, and strings, delivering a unique fusion of urban dance styles.
Pleasures
Manchester based, 4-piece punk/indie band who met at an early age, inspired by The Stooges, The Ramones and Cabbage etc, this band have their own unique playing style.
Glove
Glove is a sonic and soul collaboration between artists Slosilver and Stephanie Finegan. A raucous and life-affirming live show that has to be witnessed. “Something entirely revolutionary. Falling Ghost
Mixing electronic drums with atmospheric textures, mesmeric production and heart-rending melodies, delivering a sound world similar to the XX, London Grammar, M83, Burial and Radiohead. Falling Ghost is the solo project of Manchester based multi- instrumentalist/producer Daniel Sweeney; formerly singer-songwriter with the band SYLVIA.
