Join Mr. Scruff & MC Kwasi with very special guest Tarzsa for a 6 hour B2B DJ session. Both DJs will be playing together for the whole night, digging from a box of Soul/Jazz/Disco/Funk/House/Techno/Afro/Latin/Reggae/Hip Hop/Breaks and lots more. All welcome, regardless of age, nationality, mobility, gender or sexuality. Regulars & first timers getting down together… mixed up music for a lovely mix of people!
A true champion of music, Tarzsa’s delicate ear has already secured her a 5 year residency with NTS, alongside regular appearances on BBC 6Music, filling in for like-minded contemporaries such as Afrodeutsche and Jamz Supernova.
With the ability to soundtrack both a Sunday afternoon and a peak-time dancefloor, Tarzsa’s versatility has resulted in her status as an in-demand selector, which has earned co-signs from the likes of Mr Scruff, Call Super and Palms Trax. Having showcased her musical diversity across radio and club mediums, Tarzsa has gradually become a trusted new talent, with slots at events such as GALA, The Warehouse Project, We Out Here, Parklife, Lost Village and Glastonbury, DC10, The White Hotel, De School, Fabric and Printworks.

PHONES ON THE DANCEFLOOR
Please don’t use phones on either dancefloor. We ask this because we want the dancefloor to be a place where everyone can be in the moment. If you’re tweeting, texting, bidding for a pair of socks on eBay or taking a picture of your friends, you’re not only out of the moment, you also might be making it hard for someone else to be in the moment. The bar areas or balcony is a much better place for this.

CORE VALUES
Be nice to everyone. Tip the lovely bar staff. Say excuse me if you bump into someone.
Respect other people’s space. If you’re made to feel uncomfortable, or if you see anyone behaving inappropriately let one of our staff know, and we will sort it. We will not stand for inappropriate behaviour of any kind. If you witness or are subjected to sexual harassment, intimidation, unwanted invasion of your personal space or any other form of disrespect, let a member of staff know and we will deal with the situation in a way that makes you feel comfortable – we’re prepared to do anything from have a quiet word to contacting the police.

TICKETS ON THE DOOR
Tickets are usually taken off sale at 4pm on the day of the event, so even if it looks sold out online there should be places on the door. Please come down early if you don’t have a ticket.

ACCESSABILITY
If you have a wheelchair, please let us know in advance (at least a week’s notice is ideal) & we will do our best to reduce the number of tickets on sale to give more room to manoeuvre. Please contact the BOTW operations team on 0161 830 3888 or email info@bandonthewall.org. The same contact should be used if you need to bring a personal assistant.
