Motion North is the Manchester-based group for motion designers, animators, filmmakers and VFX artists residing in the upper regions of the UK to get together and share our love of making things move. We meet every quarter to network, and also to hear from industry speakers.
Joining us for July from Barcelona are Niceshit. An animation studio who don’t have a signature look or style, but a love of character design, bold colours and humorous narratives. This work often finds its way into the stories they tell, whether it’s for social, television or out of home.
Our second guests are Dada Projects, a female-led studio that specialise in an alternative future for 3D design. Having worked with Vogue, Nike, Selfridges, Adidas and many others, they’ll be showcasing their use of emerging technologies to produce unique animations.
