Student bands from across Greater Manchester are invited to enter before 20 March for the chance to win the big prize of performing live at both Bluedot and Kendal Calling this July, alongside an exclusive recording session at Manchester’s Blueprint Studios.
The competition is now in its third year, and we’re thrilled to be hosting the semi-final right here at Band on the Wall. Six bands will go through to the final, which will be held at Manchester Arndale during its spring student event, MCR Student Night Out, on Thursday 27 April.
Finalists will have their music heard by an established industry panel of judges; Gavin Sharp, CEO of Band on the Wall, Tim Thomas, Director at Blueprint Studios, Clint Boon, The Inspiral Carpets, and brand new judge for 2017 – Jo Good from Radio X.
