The Irish folk singer and brother of Christy Moore live at The Waterside Arts Centre, Sale.

Internationally-acclaimed singer-songwriter, Luka Bloom brings an experimental edge to traditional folk music with his electro-acoustic guitar. With a poets heart and a rockster’s soul, Luka Bloom is regarded as one of Ireland’s best-respected contemporary folk artists, having produced 20 albums since the 1970s, Bloom continues to push the boundaries of what his music can do, and the 2013 Heartman Tour proves he is still making provocative, poetic music that delves deep into the intricacies of the human soul and pulls out the nuggets and puts them into a song.

Indeed his incredibly gifted playing guarantees an impassioned live performance of his original, poetic and melodic songs. Expect a wonderful night at The Waterside in the company of this very special artist.

“Armed with just his guitar and emotive voice, Bloom magically transformed a large theatre into an intimate bed-sit.”
