Through a partnership between Manchester Folk Festival and Music PEI, Lizzy Hardingham has been working with Canadian artist Joce Reyome in a very special pan-Atlantic project.
Following time spent together in Prince Edward Island and in Manchester, this concert will be a chance to hear some of the music from two wonderfully talented singer-songwriters.
Folk infused singer-songwriter, Lizzy Hardingham performs songs for the heart, from the heart; giving audiences a chance for genuine connection and empathy. Her exhilarating voice grabs the listener from the first note and holds on until the last. Think Christine Collister, Joni Mitchell, Sandy Denny and KT Tunstall in one.
Joce Reyome has been captivating audiences with their dynamic performances on stages throughout the east coast of Canada, where they now call home. They have won MusicPEI’s 2022 “Entertainer of the Year” and was nominated for a multitude of others including “New Artist of the Year” and “Musician of the Year”. Joce infuses a classic blues sound with raw vocals and a new perspective while staying true to their singer/songwriter roots. With inspiration from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, and Tracy Chapman, they don’t hold back when they step onto the stage.
