Band on the Wall welcome the prodigious talent of Laurence Jones this September, named “Young Artist of the Year,” at the 2014 British Blues Awards.
With the release of his debut album, Laurence Jones was rightly touted as ‘future of blues’, two years later he has turned his hot-tip potential into fully formed brilliance, and officially graduated from boy-wonder to main man.
Both of his albums were made at the legendary Dockside Studio in Louisiana where artists such as B.B King and Derek Trucks have recorded. A catalogue of big names appear on the album including Walter Trout, Aynsley Lister, Yonrico Scott, Charlie Wooton and producer Mike Zito.

In 2014 he was invited to tour with Kenny Wayne Shepherd on his U.K Tour after hearing there was a buzz about the young man. On the last night of the tour, Kenny asked Laurence to jam with him on stage, a remarkable achievement for a man of just 22, and testament that Laurence Jones is one not to miss.
“Laurence is a cross between Eric Clapton & Buddy Guy he is a genius, he sure has the feel” KWS
“Laurence is like a young Robin Trower, exciting and full of energy” – BBC Radio 2
