Good Grief is an instrumental project from Manchester, sitting somewhere in the sweet spot between jazz-soul, jazz and hip hop.

At its core are Jerome (sax/flute) and Andrian (guitar), with Jack on drums and Mara Cruz joining as a guest on bass. Together they create a loose, groove-driven sound built from hard-hitting beats, intricately woven guitar and textured sax.

Formed in 2016, Good Grief are known for their instrumental live performances that radiate warmth and imagination. Each show is different, blending solid sounds with the freedom of improvisation and erupting into a unique change of feel each time.
