Kill-Joy promotions presents Under The Radar. Taking over Band on the Wall for a late night show bringing you the best and most exciting bands from the local scene followed by DJs.

This FREE ENTRY showcase will feature live performances from Deaf Whip, Springfield Elementary and Bards… to top things off, Sliced Tomatoes will keep the records spinning throughout the night.

Manchester based, BARDS is a collision of worlds. Resurrecting themselves with a rupturing bite of grunge, levitating in a shoegaze, psychedelic mist. The band align their polar positions to leave listeners energised with hard-hitting tones, captivating melody and moments which swell to unleash the full force of this unstoppable 5 piece.

WHO THE FUCK ARE SPRINGFIELD ELEMENTARY?

Contrary to popular belief, the band have no affiliation to popular television programme ‘The Simpsons’, nor do they bare any resemblance to a tribute band dedicated to the former.
Merging their favourite sounds from the last 50 years of Punk and Psychedelia. Creating their own fuzz-soaked cocktail that truly speaks for itself. If the Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Sonics had a baby, Springfield Elementary would be the fruit of that labour.

SLICED TOMATOES take you on a juicy journey through the ages: from 50s soul to 60s freakbeat, 70s boogie to 80s Mancunian punk and global electro-funk polished off with some groovy flavours of all of the above from today. They aim to break your genre expectations and to get your feet on the dance floor whilst opening up your ears to our sounds. Strictly vinyl, always!
