A multi-instrumentalist, writer, arranger and producer, Belfast-based Kaidi Tatham is known for his nu-jazz, soulful dance music and as a pioneer of Broken Beat. Working with the likes of 4Hero, Bugz In the Attic, and Mark De Clive Lowe, he’s made his mark on the electronic scene with his upbeat, jazzy remixes.
Kaidi is a revered DJ, rocking some of the best parties globally. It’s no surprise his fanbase includes many of his impressive peers, including Madlib (“ahead of his time”), Gilles Peterson (“a key part of an entire movement”) and K15 (“a limitless source of inspiration”). Uncompromising, innovative, and deeply funky, this year saw him release his fifth album, ‘The Only Way’ – an eleven-track masterpiece that blends funk, jazz and mid-tempo hip-hop with hyper-energetic Brazilian flavours.
