Julian Cope is a singer, poet, occultist and photographer who has enjoyed a 30-year career in the rock business, and is described by his Bloomsbury book publishers as a ‘visionary rock musician and musicologist, hip archaeologist and one-time front man of the Teardrop Explodes’.

Since the early 80s when The Teardrop Explodes tore up the charts with hits such as Reward, Treason and Passionate Friend,  Julian Cope has carved out a wonderfully eccentric solo career as musician, writer and one of the world’s leading authorities on druidic and pre-historical Celtic mysticism. Throw into the mix some of the UK’s most iconic albums such as the Teardrop’s Kilimanjaro and his own Saint Julian, Peggy Suicide and Jehovakill, and you have one British music’s greatest maverick legends. Come see the great man live at Band on the Wall for this very special concert

This concert will begin at 8pm but our Picturehouse Cafe Bar is open from 5.30pm for delicious food and drinks. Special Offer! Book your meal in advance and get free ‘lucky dip’ tickets for a future concert – click here now for details
