Joyce Sims is the multi-talented singer-songwriter behind the club classic soul anthems “(You Are My) All And All” and “Come In To My Life”. 2017 marks the 30th anniversary of Come into my Life and to mark the occasion we welcome her to the famous Band on the Wall stage!
A native New Yorker and multi instrumentalist who studied music at college, Sims had her first hit single in 1987 with “(You are my) All And All”, topping the R&B and Dance charts in the U.S. and pop charts around the world. Her debut album “Come Into My Life” was certified gold in the UK and charted the U.S. Billboard R&B top 10.
Continued touring and festival appearances around the world have ensured that “Come Into My Life” and “All And All” have become club classics, and can still frequently be heard playing to packed dance floors in clubs around the world.
Joyce Sims’ music has been recorded and sampled by a hugely diverse range of musical icons including jazz vocalist Randy Crawford, R&B singer Angie Stone, rapper Snoop Dogg, and featured in the film “Species.”
In addition to touring, Sims has continued to record and release new material with her latest album “Love Song” officially released August 31, 2015.
To mark this special anniversary show we will also be throwing an afterparty til the early hours, hosted by Manchester’s Soul Central featuring Mike Stephens, Paul Mac and Bizzy B playing the best in 80’s and 90’s soul.
