Band on the Wall presents a series of late night free entry gigs and DJ sets on our custom made second stage, located to the rear of our brand new bar. We’ll be shining a light on our favouring emerging artists across all genres with a diverse programme of global sounds from, and inspired by, the music of cultures from around the world.
Join the John Kelly Quartet for a night of jazz standards and many more groovy things. The quartet only formed a few short months ago but have already established their own clear sound, drawing on influences from jazz to hip hop to gospel among many other genres. Born out of the RNCM and made of saxophonist John Kelly, pianist Toby Saunders, bassist Rayner Keyse and drummer Josh Doyle, the group provide a fresh look at some classic jazz standards as well as some less frequently heard tunes and a handful of originals.
