After picking up widespread praise and radio play (notably BBC Radio 3’s Jazz Now), Glowrogues embark on a UK tour following their release on Jazz Plus Productions, including a return to Band on the Wall on 12th October.
Glowrogues are Manchester-based collective led by Jim Molyneux. Hip hop, funk and jazz is weaved into a tapestry that oozes heady ambient pop and tight horn-filled choruses. Players in the collective bring vast experience from the jazz and folk scenes having appeared with The Old Dance School, Apes Grapes, SKELTR, ELDA and the Mancunian jazz juggernauts Beats and Pieces Big Band.
GLOWROGUES – Live at Jazz Plus Presents is the debut live album from GLOWROGUES, and the first release on the Jazz Plus Productions label.
Recorded live at GLOWROGUES’ recent spellbinding Jazz Plus Presents gig at Notting Hill Arts Club (London), this album is brimming with Glowrogues’ unique energy.
