Band on the Wall presents a series of free entry gigs and DJ sets on our second stage, located to the rear of our brand new bar. We’ll be shining a light on our favourite emerging artists across all genres with a diverse programme of global sounds from, and inspired by, the music of cultures from around the world.
Jam on the Wall, Band on the Wall’s regular jam night returns, hosted by Joe Luckin!
Joe Luckin is an experienced and versatile drummer. A graduate of The Royal Northern College of Music, at the age of 29 he has toured Europe and the UK frequently and played at most of the UK’s and European major festivals.
As well as touring throughout the year, Joe has performed and recorded with artists such as:, Mike Skinner, So Solid Crew, Ms Dynamite, Shola Ama, Terri Walker, Mahalia, Ghetts, Kevin Simm, Bam (Jungle Brothers), Levelz, and UK Jazz artist Werkha. Joe is the drummer for “Garage Classical”, which last year saw him record an album with Paloma Faith, Emelie Sande, The Sugarbabes and many more. This project led him to performances on the Graham Norton Show, The Royal Albert Hall, and a top 40 album. He also has recording credits for Warner Brothers and Sony Music respectively, and has featured on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, BBC Radio 2 & 3, Channel 4 and Maida Vale studios.
