Hopalong Gretzky is the solo moniker of Manchester-based musician Oliver Duffy. Taking influence from such troubadours as Paul Westerberg, Todd Rundgren and Alex Chilton, his heart-on-his-sleeve songwriting style and balance of catchy hooks and sheer volume cements him as one of Manchester’s most honest noisemakers, if nothing else.
