Hinterland Festival: Caitlin O’Ryan, Griot Gabriel + Skye Lilly

Hinterland Festival is Manchester’s newest philosophy, arts, and culture festival, curated by Hinterland CIC. Emerging from a passion for conscious third spaces, this city-wide festival creates spaces where communities can gather, stimulate their imagination, and explore wisdom. In a rapidly changing world, we engage with change through deep thought, conversation, arts, poetry, and open discussions about life and society—exploring what we wish to bring into being.

Hinterland x BOTW presents: Hinterland Poets: Headlined by Cailtlin O’Ryan. an afternoon of music, gospel and more featuring Griot Gabriel and hosted by Skye Lilly.

Caitlin O’Ryan is an actor and poet from Greater Manchester, now based in London. Her poetry is known for being vulnerable, confronting and deeply relatable.
Her debut poetry collection, At What Point, published by Burning Eye Books, will be available to purchase after her performance.

Caitlin has headlined some of London’s leading spoken word nights, including Spitnights, Groove Verse, Poet’s Palace, VERSES x Roundhouse and the international franchise Voices in Power, and performs regularly as part of Sofar Sounds.
