An unmissable opportunity for harmonica enthusiasts to learn, talk and play with Mat Walklate – one of the UK’s top players before tonight’s very special performance.
This afternoon event will comprise workshops and demonstrations with Mat Walklate discussions, demonstrations and performances on all the main types of harmonica: diatonic, chromatic, tremolo. There will be opportunities for everyone to jam together in a variety of musical styles with the help of a backing band brought in for the day! Harmonica related questions will be answered and there will be a short demonstration on how to maintain and re-tune harps. Acoustic and amplified harmonica will be thoroughly explored and attendees will have the opportunity to use Walklate’s professional mics and amps.
This event will begin at 2pm and run until 6.30pm. Places are strictly limited so advance booking strongly advised.
