Gramotones have been steadily building a buzz out of Manchester. The band’s classic songwriting delivered by two distinctive lead singers, underscored by intricate harmonies has inspired a fast growing fan base around the UK and earned them the support and accolades of from some of their musical heroes; Tim Burgess, London Grammer and Paul Weller to name a few.

Paul Weller has been particularly supportive; he listed the Gramotones as one of his favourite bands in Mojo magazine, describing ‘Daltry Street’ as one of his favourite tracks of the year. The band have since shared the stage with Weller on UK and European tours; including gigs in Germany, Belgium, Holland and Warwick Castle in front of a crowd of 10,000.

Gramotones are heading back into the studio to record some new songs and will be releasing a new single ‘Corprate whipping boy’ to coincide with gigs at The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, BL9 Music Festival, Kendal Calling and Festival No.6 as well as headline shows across the UK this summer.

The Picturehouse Cafe Bar is open beforehand for delicious food and drinks.
