  • Band on the Wall, Manchester
  • ADVANCE £7 / FUL...

Good Foxy initially formed from George Banks & Callum Sykora’s first band, ‘New Natives’. After a while things sizzled out with the young outfit and before you knew they were both looking for a new venture. When joining St Mary’s they met up with ‘the best guitarist they had ever seen’… Henry Crabtree. Next along came Freddie Bruhin-Price.. Learning the bass guitar specifically to be in the band, all for the love of music.

Before you knew it the layds we’re up and down all over the country, at the mere age of 17 years old. With the sounds of Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley, The Meters and many other insanely sweet artists in mind, Good Foxy began to make a music which well exceeded their years.

Though they had begun with their heroes Cream, and recent successes Tame Impala in mind, Good Foxy had soon developed their own ethereal, unforgettable sound. After the self-financed recording of an acclaimed album whose diverse charm is now catching the attention of radio stations around the country and across the world, the band has cemented its fearsome live reputation with slots at festivals in 2017 including The Great Escape, Y NOT, Solfest and Beat-Herder, also nailing slots for the sold out Kendal Calling Festival, and Beat-Herder in 2018.

With a new album due on the way and various huge festival slots in the summer of 2018, this year looks to be a huge one for the ever formidable Good Foxy.
