Band on the Wall presents a series of free entry gigs and DJ sets on our second stage, located to the rear of our brand new bar. We’ll be shining a light on our favourite emerging artists across all genres with a diverse programme of global sounds from, and inspired by, the music of cultures from around the world.
Italian DJ ggeebow has been active in the Manchester scene for the past two years. His genre-blending sets are a journey through a selection of music from all over the globe, exploring world music in all its facets and combining it with a variety of sonorities; from amapiano to baile funk, from hip-hop to kuduro, latin house and more. Throughout the past years he took part in many events in bars and clubs around Manchester as well as guest mixes for radio stations at the likes of STEAM Radio and Unity Radio.
