The Mirror Ball Test
The Mirror Ball Test are a seven-piece collective, introducing (in their words) ‘an exciting new area of psuedoaudiology’.

New Junior
New Junior is a Liverpool-based saxophonist, singer and music producer. His craft combines cutting edge elements of hip-hop, as heard from the likes of Frank Ocean and Chance the Rapper, with vocal layering and synth work akin to James Blake. Taking inspiration from the likes of De La Soul, Loyle Carner and Pharrell Williams to create playful beats and positive melodies, he has etched himself onto the Liverpool scene with his deft genre fusions and unbounded approach.

Nishla
Nishla is an Australian jazz singer/songwriter, now based in Manchester. In January this year, she performed as part of MONA’s Summer Jazz Festival in Australia, before returning to the UK to revive her self-devised show ‘Cabaret: A Show About The End Of Love’ with string quartet Manchester Collective for the PUSH festival. She is an artist for Sofar Sounds in Manchester and London, and has performed her originals live on BBC’s Intune. In March 2018, Nishla became one of the Manchester Jazz Festival’s Hothouse talent development artists. She will be performing an original set at the festival in July, before beginning a summer residency at Sage Gateshead in August. Nishla is working on a debut record.

Polly Virr
Polly is a professional cellist based in the UK, where she performs as an improviser, chamber musician, soloist and session musician, alongside working as an educator, facilitator and composer.
