Grimm Twins
Hailing from Macclesfield, Grimm Twins formed in 2018 with twins Harry (Vocals & Guitar) & Joe Ward (Drums) Tilly Morris (Synthesizers & Keyboards) Will Taylor (Bass Guitar) and George Cole (Lead Guitar). Having put a song online every month of 2018, the buzz around the group grew in Manchester. Huw Stephens played their track ‘Generation Z’ on his Radio 1 show, and American Station KEXP followed suit.
New Luna
A staple band of Manchester’s underground alternative scene, New Luna continue to establish themselves as an act pushing dream-pop and post-indie music in a forward direction. Drawing comparisons to Radiohead and Bombay Bicycle Club, the band followed up the “brilliantly forward-thinking noisy rock” (Piccadilly Records) of 2016’s debut EP with 2017 single Opinionated, reaching #3 on Hypemachine’s Worldwide Blog Chart and gaining support from Dork, It’s All Indie and Too Many Blogs.
