WEEK 1 OF A 4 WEEK COURSE

A special four week course of whole day workshops for Flamenco guitar, dance and percussion enthusiasts, plus an amazing opportunity to take part in a workshop with the world renowned master guitarist and composer Paco Pena and his accompanying artistes (included in the course price). The course explores fundamental compas rhythmic cycles through elements of guitar, dance and percussion taught by leading exponents and tutors of this visceral and emotional art form.

Besides learning steps, notes and beats this course gives students from the three disciplines the rare opportunity to interact and work together and with the different tutors. In doing so participants will learn a deeper understanding of the essence of Flamenco.

The course will culminate in a special Flamenco Fiesta Day on Sat 21st April featuring a workshop with one of the world’s great flamenco artists, Paco Pena, and a performance in the evening by very special guests Laboratorio Brujo – with musicians formerly of the internationally-acclaimed Ojos de Brujo
