Femme De La Femme is Manchester’s primary queer & FINTA* jazz band. Created in response to the lack of gender diversity and queer spaces in the music scene, Femme De La Femme are passionate about bringing this, and some femme ferocity to the forefront of the jazz scene.
In this headline show, they will be bringing you on a journey into a dynamic soundscape of original music, ethereal grooves, Latin beats, classical twists, spoken word and electronic synthesis.
Prepare to be met with ambrosia of the ears as Femme De La Femme collaborate with one of Manchester’s most adventurous DJs, Girlfriend (@g.rlfr13nd.wav) to bring a spotlight on Jazz and Electronic fuzion. A fabulous Manchester fan favourite, Girlfriend is a resident at Reform Radio as well as co-founder of RUNWAY, MCR based queer electronic music night.
