Following his stand-out performance in 2009, Band on the Wall welcomes back one of soul’s greatest voices for this very special concert.
Eric Roberson’s uplifting and finely-tuned songs and poetical lyricism have established him as a major player on the US soul scene and it’s no surprise he’s building a major following among R & B and soul fans in the UK. He visits Manchester on the back of the release of his new album “Mr Nice Guy?” The 15-song album, for release on September 5, features a cameo from veteran rapper Chubb Rock, who performs on the new single “Summertime Anthem”. It will be Roberson’s eighth solo album, and for each of the past two years he has been nominated for a Grammy Award for performances from his prior album “Music Fan First”. We love him and we think you will too.
